I need to rant! And have no one to rant too
Just got a call from my Stepmum, my darling dad has just been diagnosed with a fast growing inoperable brain tumour
There is nothing to be done my wonderful fit dad has just about 9 months left on this earth
I don’t know what to do or where to turn he is only 71 I’m heartbroken

He has lost the sight in one eye and feeling in one leg and arm. Trying to speak to some of the RAF clubs to see if they can help at all.

RR you can hire internal mobile showers and wet rooms ( if he has the room)- we had one for my grandfather before w got the proper one converted.

Anne, I suspect it's palliative care rather than "end of life" care. Anything that makes him more comfortable will be considered, as it should be. (Apologies RR).
My stepmum is also struggling in France with my dad who has got to just past the end of the 5 years he was given. Not the same as your situation, but genuinely, I wish you all the best xx
