What sad news, she was my favourite female singer, I remember I bought her hit
♫ With a Song in My Heart ♫ on a 78 RPM and played it over and over again on both my Radio Gram and more potable Wind-Up.

Gosh I was shocked to read this, I liked her a lot not only because her films are fab and great escapism, especially the romantic ones, but I loved her work for animals. She'll be missed.
