Problems With Chrome

When I do a search, the results pop up for a second, then the page changes to websites that are selling things that at a stretch could be related to the search.

I downloaded Malwarebytes and did a scan and it seemed to cure the problem, but a day later, the problem came back again. Did another scan, but nothing emerged. It's driving me mad.

Any ideas for a fix, please.
