I am the employee of a company
I travel to a single place of work

My car insurance policy states that it covers -

-''Use for social , domestic and pleasure purposes ''

- ''Use by the policy holder in connection with the business of the policy holder''

Is there a problem being covered for -

''Use by the policy holder in connection with the business of the policy holder ''

i.e. Am I covered for travel to a single place of work ?

Quoting "Go Compare" is not relevant. It is a price comparison company and not an insurance company. Some of the companies it gets quotes from include commuting as standard and some don't; it needs to know your requirements in order to get the correct quote for you. In the same way my own insurance company includes foreign travel as standard, most don't, so Go Compare needs to ask to get a relevant quote for all users.
bhg, if go compare asks the question surely it indicates that at least some insurance companies divide the two lots of cover? As many of us keep saying, if you want to know about an individual policy then you need to ask the company who provide it.
Woofie - that's exactly the point I was making. Some companies include it, others make it optional. Go Compare needs to ask whether you want it or not so that it can give you a correct quote.
