Selling Tickets on EBay

If you had sold tickets on Ebay, how would you send them to the buyer,? would it have to be by registerd post? Thanks all

I bought concert tickets on eBay last year ...the seller sent them Recorded Delivery, so I had to sign for them ...

Yep i agree send them recorded delivery or special delivery just to make sure they get there safely and to make sure the buyer doesnt try to scam you out of them by saying they didnt receive them or anything

(AB's server is only accepting very short posts, so I'll split this up):

'Registered Post', as such, no longer exists. (The service has been absorbed into 'Special Delivery').

Use Recorded Delivery if you just want to avoid any possible arguments with the purchaser over whether they actually received the tickets. This just costs 68p more than normal postage (either 1st or 2nd class). So you can send the tickets, 1st Class, for just �1.00. Note, however, that if the Post Office lose your mail, you'll have to refund the purchaser but the Post Office will only offer you minimal compensation. (Typically half a dozen 1st Class stamps).

Special Delivery has the advantage that the Post Office will refund your full loss if the envelope goes astray but the service is much dearer. (It would cost �4.10 to send the tickets on the 'Next Day' service. If for some reason, you wanted to ensure that the tickets arrived by 9.00a.m., you'd have to pay �8.95 if the tickets were valued up to �50 or �9.95 for ticket values up to �1000).
