Ironically, the actual sex differences are not changed, even with actual transsexuals. There should be no need, especially in this day and age, for people to have to pretend to be something they aren't, in order to be accepted by society more easily.

No, but kids weren't taught it was "normal", or "something to be aspired to", and treated to "are you quite sure you're a boy? Wouldn't you be hapier as a girl?".
