I have a range of bird nesting box's and a hedgehog box but this coming year, I'm going to install some dormice boxes to try to encourage into my garden which borders onto woodland.
Any tips on conservation of threatened species will be welcome.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Contact your local wildlife Trust, no point if they are not in the area as they can't move between isolated habitats. However one thing you might like to add is a feeding station for smaller mammals like a covered hedgehog feeding station but lower. You might get voles and shrews.
Don't forget bat boxes, and if you have a suitable tree an owl box.

Following on from my November post re dormice.
I don't want to speak too soon but I could be in luck!.
Something is starting to build a nest of moss and strands of bark, inside the box....so fingers crossed!
My next project will be to make a footprint tunnel, to find out what seems to be setting up home!
