I definitely need my sleep. 8 hrs is just perfect for me.
I need eight hours, if I don't get enough sleep I am not at my best.
About 6-6.5 hours for me...though I aim for 7 on my days off. More than 7 and I don't feel any more rested. On work days it's more like 5.5 hours. I'm a night person and at my age find it impossible to adapt my sleep pattern to be up at 6am.

Pasta I've never been a night person, I recall the 60s when fiends went to nightclubs , I couldn't think of anything worse, in fact, even NYE sees me in bed well before the clock strikes 12
I never seem to get to bed before 2am (sometimes a tiny bit later) and I’m up at 7.30 on a school day. Seem to start flagging about this time of night (10ish) but by the time everyone has gone to bed I seem to get a second wind.
I don’t think I get enough sleep at night. I’m nodding off in the afternoon, but then I’m wide awake til the early hours.

* friends* ( some were fiends , haha )
About 6 hours is usual for me.
Somewhere between 5 and 6 hours for me. I put that down to being on permanent night shift for 23 years though ( haven't been on nights for ten years now though ).
