A Jag instead of a BMW?...he must like dealership coffee.
While I know nothing about cars, I have noticed that nobody ever wants to be a BMW or an Audi driver... and can see why!
I worked for JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) for many years, they have become more & more mass produced cars over the years, no longer as luxurious as they were in the past.
I was made redundant last year along with hundreds of others, and yes, it is now owned by Indians.
India is becoming a very powerful , business minded country.
FORD....
Found on RoadsiDe.
Was you at Castle Bromwich or Solihull, CaptainS ?
No, we were based in Kent. We produced and manufactured the interiors, from the door panels through to boot/luggage shelves, all leather wrapped and hand stitched. Sadly, the last project I worked on was the new F- type Jaguar. .. very nice car, mechanically and pleasing to the eye.
Ah right, not on the production lines then. I live not very far from where Jags and Land rovers ( also the new engine plant ) are built, Jag Landrover have been laying off workers for the last few months now.
( I bet they blame brexit ).
CaptainS I used to work for a company that supplied all chromed door handles for Jaguar and black for Land Rover, interesting plants to visit.
Used to be William Bates and Edward Roses ( both near me and both long gone now ) back in the day, TonyV.
For the Pedants, from Chambers Dictionary:

2. An acronym (N American)

Talk amongst yourselves.
