I've just had a crash course watching it from the beginning.
Disappointed to be honest.

I shan’t be watching as I never saw it originally, and am still in series three :-)
I’d also only ever watch on catch up or DVD, as much as I love it, as I find large parts of the dialogue inaudible due to the mumbling mainly of the lead character.

I gave it 30minutes when it forst started, but it seemed so dark, violent and inaudible. Has anything changed?

I agree ichkeria, I couldn't understand them either at the beginning, then I put subtitles on and hey ho, love the series. I can't watch tomorrow as I am only on series 2 on Netflix.

I've got my bluetooth headphones which makes the dialogue so much clearer.

Peaky Blinders is one of those shows I can watch several times and still not get bored. And Cillian Murphy is stunning with his piercing blue eyes.

quite a good example of - they are telling it like it should have been rather than they are telling it like it was

( like having the call box in the lettuce field - as if any of the labourers would have had 4d - four pences)
