I have a white Hebe bush about 3ft. tall and a spread of 4ft, it has finished flowering but now has a decided lean over the lawn, can I prune it back to a manageable size now, should I wait till spring, just prop it up and hope that it straightens up a bit ?
Thanks for your advice.

If I were you, I'd hold back on pruning it back, to avoid any frost damage over the winter, on the new growth.
Propping it back in the meantime sounds like a good move. Waiting until May would be a safer option, that's what I would do anyway.
just cut ours back, it was also getting too spready. Spring, summer, early autumn should be okay; we checked with a gardening friend before doing it.
