Do you love it or hate it?
How much would you need to eat to get a decent daily dose of iron?
I like a wee scraping on buttered toast but can't see that it is giving me much.

Love it, love it, love it.
"Piercing" a new jar of Marmite was enjoyed by me, almost as much as stabbing the silver foil on a new jar of coffee. But my dad usually got there first and disrupted the smooth top as soon as it was back from the supermarket to spite me (and even before the old jar was finished, which in all other cases was sacrilegious!)
But I had the last laugh. When I was younger, I used to plunge my finger into the jar, all the way to the bottom, then ram it in my mouth and keep it there for what seemed like an hour, although it was more likely around 55 minutes.
Guess I've just blown my cover though, because at least one of my parents reads this site...
Oddly enough, I hate Vegemite. Oddlier still, as Quizmonster says, it's German... but incredible difficult to find in Germany. The only place I've seen it, in fact, is the Piccadilly English Shop. (Great place, sells Ribena, Walker's crisps, Cadbury's chocolate etc.)
And the best ways to eat it, in order, are:

And the best ways to eat it, in order, are:
- A thin layer on thickly-buttered (real butter) toasted white bread;
- With very strong farmhouse extra mature cheddar in a toasted sandwich;
- On a cheesy roll with garlic and herb Boursin or Philadelphia;
- In a baguette with strong farmhouse extra mature cheddar and tomato.
