Are the site rules different for some people say like moderator or friends of such.?
A case in point anyone else using a derogatory expression to describe another country there would have been an outcry from some on here,
I am on about Uruguay being called pampas munchers,
A derogatory expression in my opinion.

Because it's Jordy he will always get shot down in flames by some and yes without a doubt he's picking on something to cause a stir however - I couldn't give two hoots about pampas munchers, it was meant for comedy I'm sure but absolutely no doubt that if some used similar slang/offensive descriptors such as chinky, slitty eye, pa$i, argy etc etc yes it would...

Jordy,I believe some abers see you as an easy target to ridicule. If we wish to stay to play on AB we go * along * with the rules . ;*)
No jordy, the rules are the same for Moderators, and their 'friends'.

If a post is deemed to have contravened Site Rules and is seen by a Moderator or a member of the Editorial Team, it can be removed.

But that does depend on it being seen by one of those in the first place - the post to which you refer may simply not have been picked up, rather than seen and given a swerve, as you seem to imply.
Some with their fingers on the zapper button do apply 'the rules' 'flexibly'. As far as I'm aware there is no rule forbidding criticism of a nation.

Your approach to Moderation is the same as I experienced when dealing with account holders at BT.

The underlying feeling from the customer is that BT is ripping them off.

They don't have any concrete evidence they can point to, it's just a 'feeling' that they have, and it nags away at them like an undercurrent in their dealings with the company.

I am on the site virtually every day at some time or other, and obviously I never see posts that have been removed, or know what they say, so I would be at a loss to conclude that they were removed unfairly.

If you, or any other of the 'suspicious' AB'ers have evidence that the Rules are applied unfairly by Monitors, then you owe it you all of us to raise your concerns with the Editorial team, who actually do have the power to see what is being deleted, and also the required reasons why, and the individual doing the removing.

If, on the other hand you are doing what many do when criticizing the Moderators on here, you are simply muttering in a paranoid fashion about matters you actually know nothing about, then you likewise owe it to all of us to do your muttering to yourself, and not clutter up the site with it.
Geez Andy, we all know you are not the only moderator in AB. You appear so paranoid this am .
Drip,drip,drip.......whooshhhhh!!
// owe it to all of us to do your muttering to yourself, and not clutter up the site with it//
oh the irony
AH, When I asked you to remove probably the most offensive post I've ever seen on these pages, you refused - and that sort of bias warrants criticism. Fortunately, someone else obliged. That's all I have to say.

I'm not sure I can see the difference.
Nobody mention Vichy or Quisling. I did once but I think I got away with it.
Yawn, well lets hope this post is now put to bed? :0)
( That's all I have to say) thank god.
