How can I make up my own Saline for rinsing contact lens.

I think unless you're a chemist with access to sterile water etc it just wouldn't be possible / advisable.. You just need to be really careful with anything yr gonna put in ur eyes!
i have heard boiled water or bottled water and a bit of salt - but don't blame me if ...
nooooo....don't use any type of water with contact lenses! You can't make up saline urself unfortunately it's just a base product with nothing in it that will react etc. hence why chemists use it just to make up volumes.

Thank you all for your honest opinions of my thoughts.
It would appear that just adding a salt tablet to distilled water is not a good idea as it requires sterile water, although what the differance is I don't qute know.

don't do it. you've got no back-up if anything should go wrong. leave it to the pros!
