You want to try getting through to Plusnet Bobbs, the last time I had the misfortune to ring them, I timed it and it was 32 minutes !!!
Question Author
Wouldn’t care if she was worth talking to HereIam, she must have had a bad weekend x
Aren't Plusnet the firm who are reputed to have wonderful customer service?
The best thing often seems to be to ignore the instructions and press nothing... that usually gets through to a human type person quicker than anything... :-)
Question Author
I’ll try that next time Pix, thank you
Good luck... lol xx
It used to be you got the switchboard and asked for the relevant department, eg Accounts etc.

This is just an advance on that.

The frustration is when none of the options are what you require.
Pixie has it.

I need a sizeable refund from EON, There quick enough to take your money
bhg, it's always the same when I have to ring them, but 32 minutes was the longest ever ! They all tell fibs anyway ..
I find pressing a button that asks me if I want to update or join gets a speedy answer. They don't leave you hanging on the line long when there is the prospect of money up for grabs.
Question Author
They knew I was after a refund , that’s probably why they let me hang on haha, but I’ve achieved quite a lot for a Monday
Paid for the girls weekend in a log cabin
Cleared my PC back to factory settings,
Transferred photos from my phone to my PC
Still looking for cheap flights for a girlie time in Lanzarote,
So not a bad days work, and I’m not finished yed
Must be standard practice for E-ON as I was hanging on for about the same time today and this is the second time I've had to phone them. Is it my phone or is the music they play while you are hanging on absolutely blaring? I turned the volume down as low as I could on my phone but I still ended up putting the phone in a drawer! At the end of my conversation today I was asked if I wanted to make a complaint (about the ongoing problem) and I said yes, turn the bloomin' music down. :-)
Question Author
it's the music Barsel, shocking CS as well
Yep, been there, done that many times, its a pain in the ass. Getting any sort of refund from anyone is like getting blood from a stone. They hope to bore you to death with their adds and music, hoping you will give up and put the phone down, Anyone who ignores my notice to cancel anything now, RAC/AA/ Insurance, just about anything, I can just stop the direct debit sitting here. And I don't have anything to do with continuous card payment. Stopping payment of any kind soon gets things sorted, because they end up ringing you. I love it!!!! :0)

I said that's what I would do and followed with Have a nice Day, haha
I have been told, although I haven't tried it, that if you press a random series of numbers the system doesn't understand and puts you through to an operator.
If E.on operates in the same way as British Gas, you can request a refund online after you've submitted a meter reading. (That assumes that you've registered to access your account online):

The most difficulty utility to communicate over the phone with, in my experience, is (ironically) a communications company. It's BT!

However my record for being kept on hold while waiting to speak to someone is with the Department for Work and Pensions when I was claiming Job Seeker's Allowance. I had to listen to the same tinny piece of Haydn for over fifteen hours (spread over three days)!
Bobbiesox,why lanzarote,.
Have you never fancied Crete,
Here in palachora all the bars you want,
Restaurants,2 beaches sandy and stony
And the weather is fantastic 84% average
For the last 5 weeks.
And the apartments are spotless.
