Hardiness Of New Plants

Well I'm unlikely to recall all the plants I put in this year, but concentrating on the fruit stuff. As far as I can tell, greatberry, and blueberry are able to shrug off the colder months by themselves. The cherry tree might need a mulch and winter wash. But the fig tree probably ought not have been put in the ground and may need covering with something. Oh and the pineberry, should that be ok left too ?

Are my beliefs above correct, and has anyone any advice of details of what to do ?

Saskatoon's are perfectly hardy, as are the blueberries. Treat 'pineberry' as you would do with normal strawberries.
The fig may benefit from winter protection, though.

Cheers. Maybe I'll try to find a suitable mulch and possible cover for the fig then. Leave the rest. I'll go look up treatment for strawberries.
