Online Scrabble

Does anyone else play this? I've been playing for years but have never got higher than 54% wins. If I have a long streak of wins the next few games are almost impossible to get high scores and I have a long streak of losses.
Has anyone else noticed this cycle?

I play against the computer on my Kindle. I don't play at the hardest level. I have about 80% of the wins.

There are a lot of odd words out there.

I used to play Scrabble with people from around the world Quadplex but about 4 years back 'something' changed and i have been unable to get back on that site - it says i need to download Java but i hd already done that in order to play in the first place? I've looked for others but none i have found are actually 'Scrabble', but similar games. Where do you access the Scrabble game you play, hc4361, and do you have to be on FB to do so (i'm not)?

My MIL plays scrabble online often has 6 games going at the same time.

Never played Scrabble. Language isn't a forte of mine, and I'd just be fodder for those better than I. What percentage are you expecting to win ?

I play like that, TonyV. Currently have 13 games on the go because of course my opponents may be in different time zones and play during the night when I'm asleep. Some games can take days :D

I play against the computer but find the dictionary strange, possibly American English. I gave up as I was beating the computer on relatively low scores.

Ken, there is nothing to stop you setting up a fake facebook account just to play Scrabble with strangers. I've got three FB accounts - one real one which is very private for family only; one real one that is for friends, acquaintances, neighbourhood watch groups, local history groups etc and a fake one for games.
