...This time family members. Have you ever called time on a family member and if so why, how, and do you regret it?

Rowan, I so liked that, it made me giggle but worth remembering
they're not invited for Christmas dinner then rowan?

They do not! I would have to have the flat deep cleaned and burn the bed linen if they stayed over.
I fell out with my sister. It wasn't until then that I realised what a negative impact she had on my life. We're from a very close family but no one really knew we weren't talking.

10 years later and she's making an effort. I wouldn't trust her again though.
yes, surviving brother and his wife.
Financial affairs relating to the death of my father and further escalations.
No regrets at all.

Their daughter recently re-entered my life and she has no contact with her parents either.
no, they are far away enough from not to have to bother...
An Aunt who was always interfering in other people's lives, she was never happy unless she was doing so, and caused a major rift in the family which upset my Nan at the time. I have never forgiven her and never will.
No, and I never would. Family and friends are permanent for me. I appreciate everyone has different experiences and reasons, absolutely fine, obviously. But I don't seem to be able to ever do that. I had the same experience as emmie... but am just more wary now.
Actually, I have never really "spoken" to my friend since, although my ex is the father of my children, so that is about them and not me.
