Im watching the Everton- Spurs game just now.I see Everton are wearing their poppies with pride.Nothing on the Spurs tops.Why?Were there no Spurs players or fans died in any of the wars?

I don't know why there is such a fuss about wearing poppies. As others have said, it's individual choice. I usually where one for the remembrance parade in London. Sadly, I won't be there this year, but will wear one in the local parade here next Sunday.

I agree with clarion at 09:29.

If people feel pressurised into wearing a poppy and they wear one only to stop any incoming flak the true meaning of the wearing of a Poppy will become a victim in the crossfire.

Maybe, one day, humans will move past the need to kill other humans in such a manner. :-(
