i have had lunch and was going to settle down to watch the tv but can't find anything that suits me right now.
can anyone recommend something for me to watch, tv, film, drama don't mind.
Emms, go on the BBC iPlayer and watch the film "99 Homes".
Michael Shannon, Andrew Garfield, and Laura Dern.

It's a cracker - about the American Sub-prime mortgage fiasco.
Sounds dry, but it's far from it.

Also on the iPlayer is "Election". An early Reese Witherspoon picture.
Good fun. A little "smutty" in places, but you can take it ;o)
I am about to dig the vegetable bed over for winter.

Boaty said he removed it in error, then later said it wasn't him , so sorry can't help.

I am doing puzzles and quizzes.
I am steam juicing crab apples to make a concentrated crab apple juice and dressing a christmas fairy...in the background I have got the Drama Channel on.

/// digging over the vegetable patch, sounds like hard work...///

Yes and no. Physically demanding indeed, but it didn't last very long. I've only got a small raised bed and a few tubs for vegetables - you don't need a lot - this summer I've had potatoes, carrots, lettuce, kale, radishes, tomatoes, spinach, broccoli, and butternut squash.

Plus a few herbs of course. I made the mistake of planting the mint in open ground - and it's trying to take over as usual !

Only one failure this year, sweet potatoes.
Just about to start making Somerset Pork for dinner and wondering how to make the most of some carrots Mr. J2 has brought in, because there are holes in some of them. Ah, well, here goes! Back later.

The Builder, if you are about, I watched Election, which should read Erection, smutty wasn't the word i was looking for, rude, boorish, two hours of my life wasted...
I am sorry about that, Emmie.

It is a dark "cynical" comedy, apparently satirising the American political system.
Barack Obama said it was the only political film he ever enjoyed.

My apologies.
Question Author
i wasn't so much offended as surprised, it wasn't what i was expecting at all,
