//I must say that I find it rather amusing that a New Member on A/B who only joined just over Three months ago is once again, trying to have long time members suspended//

Would you like to tell us who you refer to or are you going to ignore questions as is your practice?
Probably off-subject (but I've been away shepherding grandkids) and I didn't realise that spath had gone user inactive. That is a great shame. He needled but I always found him very pleasant. - although he became more intransigent.

We didn't bother watching the debate - what new was going to be said? 'A Yorkshire Farm' was an exposition on how to raise children and keep going during adversity. If anyone hasn't seen it, please do.

I gather that Boris came off best - which doesn't surprise me. I still rather like Boris - but don't trust him and I don't like his new arrangements to Leave the EU. My fading hopes are now pinned on time running out and a 'no deal' on Dec. 2020 - but I expect to be sold down the river on that.

I shall continue to worship Jesus.
Gulliver, deskdiary got it right at 20.46 you and Diddly never answer people. You just seem to put on a question then ignore everyone who dares to disagree with you. I expect you will just disappear from this thread as well now and start another one or are you going to answer soemthing for a change.
No idea what I'm supposed to answer but seeing as many of my recent posts on this site have attracted a comment along the lines of "you're lying" (which I have never done) I really don't know why I bother even entering into any sort of dialogue with you right-wing and deluded people. BTW - Jeremy came off best tonight and Boris proved himself to be the shifty, evasive, lying character that he has always been. If i hear about Brexit being "oven ready" once more I shall scream . On second thoughts, if it's "oven ready"stuff it and put it in the oven to roast in hell.
Diddly you and your mate gulliver have been asked many questions after you have posted on here but you don't answer any of them. You yourself even say I will not answer certain peoples questions, without giving a reason for it. Why post something if you are not willing to debate it.
Policies and Brexit aside, I have never, and still don't rate Boris as a great public speaker.
He needs to work on that.
Boris is who is is, i think his natural style is to be somewhat jokey, which of course you can't do in tv debates of this kind.
I pitch him at winning by a very slim margin, but to be honest it was a bit of an hour wasted, as to the last question, completely stupid.
The comma in the original post implies that the word "Shamelessly" wasn't the end of the sentence. For all we know, the sentence could have went on to say "but he is still the best man to be Prime Minister for the UK".

This issue with this thread is there is no link to where the Guardian featured this text. There is no context which is my main issue but to top it all off, it isn't even the full quote.

I find this one hard to discuss because, what is there really to discuss?
