Any ideas for something to do? Everything seems to be adults only or for young kids...

How old?
Question Author
13 & 14...
Do you have a ten pin bowling alley nearby? The one by us has a party night on NYE we went once when kids were younger. Not cheap but unlimited bowling, food and DJ spot prizes etc and a bar for the adults it was good fun
You could have a family & friends murder mystery night.
Ask them!
Question Author
Asking them was obviously the first thing we did, after a series of 'I don't mind" and "I don't know" I'm looking for external help!!
Why do you have to "do" something? An evening at home playing daft games and watching comedy films, lots of pizza etc to eat and a wee tipple (non alcoholic) for the young ones.
We don’t ‘do’ anything, although I’ll let the things stay up this year for the anti climax at midnight - we’ll watch the fireworks I expect.
Question Author
maggiebee - your answer sounds a lot like 'doing' something
I saw a daft game online yesterday. It was the kids wearing inflatable reindeer antlers and people, trying to throw inflatable rings onto them. Looked daft but v funny
Won't they be playing computer games or whatsapping/instagramming their mates?
I dont automatically associate fireworks with celebrating - my poor dog gets terrified twice a year or more for no good reason.
Question Author
They haven't got computer games...we normally go away for NY but was looking at some options closer to home
Agree with you CAC.
