about three weeks ago my cat had some horrible fur balls, but after a day or two she managed to get them all out. the next week she began throwing up again, even though we have changed her food and been brushing her daily. She now throws up at least once a day, sometimes twice, but shows absolutely no other symptoms of illness. any ideas?

Go and ask the vet. I think you've left it quite long enough to cover a simple upset stomach. You need a professional to have a look at your cat.
furballs can block the intestines completely you should seek veterinary help she will not be getting any nourishment if she chucks up her food all the time and in time will become ill, the other thing is has kitty been wormed lately my cat throws up like this when he needs to be wormed again i would recommend going the vet for your pills cause in my experience shop bought products are not the best and usually dont work.
