Bought a morohybRichards soup maker last July, it broke ,I rang them and they were very kind giving me a replacement, that was November 11th, none came and I kept getting emails apologising for the delay with excuses such as thd floods in North Yorkshire where there distribution centre is, okay, fair enough I thought, now, one arrives yesterday and another today, I explained to the driver I had one but he said there’s a cancelled one on my van but this one is yours? I now have two of them, I’ve rang up ( again) to say I don’t want another one ”Oh Mrs J :0) , we’ve refunded you your £70-97” yes but I have two now,” Have a nice day Mrs J” !!!!!! , goodbye :0/

Result ! After a length phone call I’ve been told to keep it free gratis, I’ll sell it and donate a few Christmas meals to our local Christmas charity Making Winter Warmer on the 25th, it isn't big enough for the volunteers to batch make soup

Ken, I guess if you offer it back to the owner and they say they don't want it, then it's become a gift.
Remember ordering a fishing rod for my son but it never arrived. Got on to Amazon and they sent another which arrived safely. Couple of weeks later I found the original parcel which some bright spark had left beside my bins but hadn't put a card through the door. Let Amazon know but they said to just keep it. Must make plenty of money.
Ken, the same reason when you hand something into a police station that you have found, after a certain period of time, if its not claimed then it becomes yours. In this case Bobbs as told the owner that she as the unpaid goods in her care, if after 6 or so months as passed and they do not bother to claim it back, then no court in the land will make a judgement against Bobbs for theft. OK?
OK. I was just curious as to your reasoning. That's all. OK.

Well it's founder doesn't seem to be doing too badly , thank you very much
Amazon makes plenty of money. I wouldn’t feel guilty.

Boden is good too. I bought a jacket whose lining split soon after purchase. They told me not to bother returning it, sent another jacket and £50 as the price had reduced since I bought it.
Hey it is xmas...say thank you very prettily, keep one as new to ensure it's return isn't demanded.....if the one you are using blows up then you have a spare...if it doesn't that's one xmas gift for you to give to someone else next year....win win I say!
