Having, with enormous help, solved Prospect’s previous tough crossword, I thought I would give the special a go. Basically there are two tables and there are 52 clues. Two for each letter of the alphabet . The solver, having solved each clue has to work out where to put each word. Tough? You know it!
Anyway I have nearly sorted out all the answers but there’s a couple I cannot crack.
The first is an 8 letter word which must begin with z. The clue is “veterinary surgery. That’s it .
The other clue is “ light coloured mild cigars” . The answer is seven letters and must begin with c. I really would appreciate any help

Tks Kettledrum and Dannyk - but Chambers has zoiatria as "veterinary surgery". . . and the BRB is the usual authority for the likes of Didymus/Doc. It also needs the a atthe end to fit the jugsaw.
