Ladybirder went into hospital at the end last week. Her operation for lung cancer was due to be carried out on Friday morning. She is in a first class hospital and has a first class surgeon who was hoping to be able to operate via keyhole surgery but did explain the other far more intrusive possibility to her. She said she would contact me as soon as she was able, to let me know how she is and since she was asked not to bring her computer into hospital for fear of robbery, she has my phone number to text me. As yet I’ve heard nothing so I am rather concerned, but I’m very much hoping all has gone well.

I will post an update as soon as I hear anything but in the meantime I know there are many people here who would like to join me in wishing her well.

Glad hear you are home, you will heal quicker but as others have said don't overdo it and make the tasks you set are small and manageable. It is a good physiological boost ticking of your tasks for the day.
