Outlook Email On An Android Phone?

I have a Nokia Lumia windows phone,and have always synchronised my outlook email with the phone.This has made things a lot easier for me and I'd hate to lose it.The thing is I'm looking at possibly getting a Motorola Moto G,and I've been told that it can be tricky to sync outlook on an Android phone,especially as Motorola is now owned by Google and is geared towards their own Gmail service.Should I stick with a windows phone?Or is there a decent app for this?
