Do you still use your local Chinese takeaway? The staff in ours are all wearing masks to reassure their customers. Would you find that a bit scary?

I was in Santorini about 3 years ago. There is a constant armada of cruise liners dropping anchor there. One ship anchored up and about a thousand Chinese disembarked at Oia. They all followed each other in line wearing those surgical masks. I thought it a bit rich as the sea air was clean and their country is responsible for most air pollution in the world. Long before this Coronavirus appeared you were hard pressed to see a Chinese person's face in London not wearing a mask.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in Dundee have had their windows broken twice over the past two days. The police think it is racially motivated (probably prompted by the coronavirus) which I find very strange as I know the owners are Dundee born and bred and have never been to China. Have never seen a mask worn by anyone in Dundee.

My local Chines takeaway owners have been to China to celebrate Chinese New Year. Rightly or wrongly, I won't be visiting it when they come back !
