Interesting. Arum maculatum has the most common names of any British wild flower.

I don't know that one lily - there is a plant called cuckoo pint which is also known as Lords and Ladies. Not much help for you.

Not heard that name, as far as I can recall.
Nearest thing that I could think of is 'cow parsley or 'bullrush' but I did think of birdsfoot trefoil, with its pods looking like horns but thats just a wild guess.
To know the place/s it is known locally might be a good starting point.

Thank you all so much for taking time to answer. I think perhaps it is an alternative name for ‘Lords And Ladies ‘...ARUM maculatum.
It is in a list of wild flowers found by my mother in Derbyshire around 1910.....too late to ask her now!
