Coronovirus Reporting

If you heard of someone who had returned from Far East very recently (last week) and had been advised to self-isolate but decided that as he felt well there was no need and had returned to work what do you think should be done?
Should this be reported?
Who should this be reported to?
If folk decide they are not going to self-isolate how can this be monitored?

If they return I do hope they are taken to the Wirral rather than asked to self isolate as I cant trust them. Not everyone who has just used their leave allowances from work to take the holiday are going to afford to self isolated for another 14 days are they?
Mamy I passed on your info and expect it will be acted on. The person in question was heard complaining loud and long about having to wear a mask to get on the plane and also being told to wear one for the journey. So what I'm okay seemed to be his attitude. Just hope he is not a carrier.
Yes I am aware that other types of 'flu can be a killer but there is no point in making a bed situation worse.

Keep calm & carry on; 'Influenza can lead to thousands of deaths a year, with the University of Oxford stating that in 2008-2009, there were 13,000 deaths in the UK alone related to the flu.
The World Health Organisation estimates that an average of up to 500,000 people die annually across the globe due to the flu.
Since October alone, 20,000 people died from flu complications in the US, which has led to one expert describing the coronavirus as a “blip”.'

.... 'By last Monday there were 79,331 confirmed cases worldwide, all but 2,069 of which were in China. There have been 2,595 deaths in China and 23 elsewhere in the world. And seasonal flu? According to an estimate by the US-based Center for Disease Control and Prevention, it has caused between 291,000 and 646,000 deaths globally a year. To put it another way, if the number of deaths from coronavirus rises a hundredfold in the next few weeks or months, it will only have reached the lower bound of the estimate for existing strains of flu.
How many of us wear face masks because of winter flu? How many planes and trains are cancelled? Does the stock market slump? There is some justification for being more wary of Covid-19 than the flu. The former is an unknown quantity and we don’t yet have a vaccine. But we know more about it by the day. Its death rate is now around 1 per cent or less and it is mostly killing people with pre-existing health conditions; anyone else would be unlucky to die from it.' .......
