Another Bad Day!

After yesterday's fiasco. I put the washer on. Did one load. Okay. Second load water started pouring out from under the sink. Discovered inlet or outlet not sure which from disabled dishwasher was pouring water out all over kitchen floor. Once again kitchen flooded. Lost count how many times this has happened. Mopped it all up. Decided to go and buy a new dishwasher. Came home and OH started to try and plumb it in.
It took him quite a time, but I am full of admiration, he is 82 years of age and he has a go at anything. He did eventually get the thing plumbed in. I will try it out later.

My dad was useless at DIY. One day he was tinkering with something electric and mum took both my brother and I into the back garden before he was allowed to switch it on.

Even as a child it seemed to me that mum had no faith in his abilities.
