My left hand is shaky. If I relax it totally it’s alright. If I hold something like my phone or a vitamin pot, it shakes uncontrollably. I bought one of those vibrating physio punchy things which you have to hold in your hand to use. It seems much worse after using that. Should I be concerned? Can a vibrating device set off a shaking hand?

There can be many causes for a shake/tremor, lots of them innocuous - if it interferes with your daily activities get it checked out.
First thing, stop using the punchy thing and see what happens.
Yes, men who use pneumatic drills get nerve damage which can result in tremor. If you didn't have it before stop using the device if you still have the tremor in a couple of weeks see your gp
