We had booked the Aspire lounge at Newcastle int Airport for our holiday that never happened, does anyone know if I’d be entitled to a refund as it was matters beyond our control? I’ve emailed them but as yet haven’t got one back

"ANSWER
I WANT TO CANCEL MY BOOKING, WILL I GET CHARGED?

If you wish to cancel your booking outside of 48 hours prior to arrival, there will be a £1.50 GBP (inclusive of UK VAT) Administration Fee per adult. However, if you wish to cancel your booking inside of 48 hours prior to arrival, then there will be a £5.00 GBP (inclusive of UK VAT) Administration Fee per adult."

As the booking was consequential to the cancellation, I believe they need not refund the whole amount.

I’ve been on to it but I thought maybe because it was beyond my control they would refund us?
Maybe they expect you to use the lounge even if you're not flying?

You can’t go to the lounge unless you go through PP control Pasta
I wasn't aware of that but they could argue as you could fly elsewhere you could use their facilities still and charge the normal cancellation fee.

Yes I suppose the could TCL, ic be happy if they deferred it to a later holiday
