Showing Thanks And Respect

To all in the healthcare. This evening at 10.00 p.m. everyone in the town where I live went onto their balconies/patios and those outside stopped and clapped their hands in appreciation for what they are doing. It was quite emotional.

At the moment everyone is in self isolation. All the restaurants and bars are closed, parks, beaches, gyms etc. also. Only supermarkets and chemists are open. It will be testing for couples who don't usually spend much time together !

Maybe Buenchico, but it was quite emotional and one of our young friends is a theatre nurse and he was quite overcome.

Heard from a friend in Spain today via FB. She said the same as Samuraisan about closures. Was hoping to come home to the UK next week but that looks doubtful. Luckily they have their own home in Spain and are not in a hotel.
