Only if you're absolutely certain that the cow is 100% healthy.

I grew up in the country and I knew plenty of famers children that drank unpasteurised milk and they're fine but then again as Toglet pointed out you need to be sure that the animal is healthy and that the milk has been stored correctly.
All of the above and..........make sure the teats are clean - not a joke, it's true - as I'm sure froggequene will verify!!!
Yes it's safe, although it is something of an acquired taste.....warm, frothy milk is not for everyone!
On a supplementary note, has anyone ever tasted human milk (apart from as a baby)? How does the taste compare to the milk from cows?
Is there any danger of women, or perhaps anyone, suffering ill effects caused by the cow's hormones in the milk, or am I making this up? I seem to remember being told about a batch of dangerous American-made milk that interfered with the hormone balance in people who drank it...
No it is not. You can get Brucilosis from unpasturised milk. It attacks your immune system and you have it for life!
WHOA!!?? That sound's wrong.Hey I'm from San Diego and I go to U.C.S.D.let me tell you one thing cows carry e.coli which is a bateria in cows and raw eggs e.coli will eventually give you very bad bladder infection trust me I've seen it happend to my friend. We went to this farm land way out in the booney's (That's american slang for middle of nowhere)to go cow tipping and we dared one of my friend's to drink milk from a cow's udder and so he did then 3 week's later he told us he alway's had a burning sensation every time he took a whiz.So we took him to the doctor and he had e.coli that made him so sick that he had a fever by the time we got their. So he was rushed to the emergency room and had to undergo surgery and had to take antibiotics for 3 month's [Email address removed as per site policy - AB Editor] Oh and their is a lot of british people living here in San Diego.
And you really have to be careful. When you crawl underneath to get your lips round the cows tit in case she steps on you!!!
