Frankly he's an old man who just happens to be our next King. He can have whatever tests he wishes, that is his privilege. He had been in contact with many people in the last few weeks and I would think it was prudent to test him so they could inform everyone who has had contact with him to look out for symptoms and self isolate.

That’s where we differ AP. I have many friends/ family working on front line services. No one from their health boards are making house calls to test them for covid19. .

Ann, that's probably because they are not next in line to the Throne. However much it sticks in some peoples craw we have a Monarchy and basically they come first in the pecking order.

Yes. If no tests had been done and then it was later found he had got it and had earlier unknowingly infected The Queen and maybe William and Kate I think that doctor may have had some questions to answer from the media. Hopefully the tests and antibody tests will be available for NHS staff, carers, police and then the rest of us soon
