So glad all those doggies have got homes. Let’s hope they’re forever homes and the humans don’t get fed up with them when things get back to normal (if ever!)
The rescue centres by me are not empty...dont know if they are still rehoming though.
My Sammi was one of the last the charity I got him from were able to rehome. The kennels he was in has closed, with 6 going to new homes or fostered. 3 others went to another kennel. The rescue is no longer taking in new dogs or rehoming. There may be more greyhounds coming their way if tracks close here like they are in the States...1500 dogs needing homes just in Florida.
Not sure about the kennels in Dundee, the the Cat Protection Centres in Dundee and Arbroath have rehomed or had all their cats fostered before they closed down.
Nor by me :( If I'm honest I have room for a cat and a dog to add to my family of 2 parrots 3 cats and a dog lol My local rescues are overwhelmed as always and I will try to do my bit. I just don't want to upset the happy home I have by rushing into an adoption.... mad times!!!
