Our local Spar do same day delivery. Ring 8 am, pay, delivered between noon and 2 pm.

I am going to do this from tomorrow, it will mean paying a bit more, but, well worth it.

And yes, it does include daily paper, ciggies. The cats will have to get used to a reduced choice.

I think so too. We normally do a weekly shop, home bargains, morrisons and lydl.

Knott End is about 3 miles away. two co-ops and a spar. It is very quiet with only 3 to 4 shoppers at each one. I am getting more and more anxious about going out now.

It is a big culture shock not having a vast choice of shops and goods.

Of course there is still a choice, but, at what risk.

Good, but I would suggest that those that have a car and can 'click and collect' should do so, leave the home deliveries for those who don't have a car. Even those who are in self isolation can 'click and collect' as they won't come in to contact with anybody

Hi Barry. Those are my thoughts as well.That is why I have continued to go out, albeit briefly.

There is a notice at my Spar entrance asking to stay away if at all possible. They offered me their delivery option earlier today.
