Err indoors has just been to ASDA, loads of bog roll, no sausages and no Heinz beans! I have Just shocked Mrs TTT by conceding that in this time of crisis I am prepared to consider a lesser brand of beans!

We’ve tried lots of different brands of beans but non compare with Heinz, wouldn’t buy any other and would rather do without if they were unavailable.

In blind taste-tests (incl. Which?), Heinz baked beans were trounced by Aldi and (best of all) Branston.
Yeah, someone once recommended Aldi baked beans so we tried them and thought them disgusting.
Actually, we’ve never tried Branston, perhaps we ought to...once we’ve eaten our way through the tray of Heinz we bought in Costco just before all this kicked off!

super market has beans ?
or has-beens ?
For years I used Heinz beans, but now I will only buy Branston. Far superior IMHO
My local shop actually had a few packs of toilet rolls.
I looked for a 4-pack of Heinz beans in Waitrose this afternoon, only to find that they'd sold out. So I put 4 individual cans in my trolley instead. However I was only allowed to but three of them (:

Apparently 3 x 4 cans (had they had them) wouldn't have been 'hoarding' but 4 x 1 can is!
Shoota. Now I know where all my vegetarian sausidges are going. To your blee$ing dog!

i must admit to never having tried Branston, I'll get the memsahib to get a tin!
Asda's are better :-). We couldn't get any either, a few days ago, so had to buy one can of Heinz... what are you offering, ttt? ;-)

chico, all they've done is set the puter to 3 items of anything that counts as an item! So you can have 3x12 cans of lager but only 3 individual cans!
tesco own brand beans are ok dash of worcester good to go, not like the old days, when they were like bullets, along with vesta curry.
There's never been a finer bean
Than Heinz's own brand navy bean.
Some folks are keen to try a bean
To which they lean, but they have seen
Just what we mean, when we all say,
That Heinz's is their own queen bean!
>>> So you can have 3x12 cans of lager but only 3 individual cans

Waitrose are far more civilised than that, TTT. There are no limits at all on booze ;-)

I was told tesco are not selling multi packs just now
i bought 4 18 packs of beer in asda
Oops posted it self

So maybe other stores are doing the same
^^^ Waitrose had loads of 4-packs of the 'reduced sugar' Heinz ones but they'd sold out of the ordinary ones in 4-packs.
