when the vaccine for covid 19 is ready for use
who should be given it first ?
I vote
those already identified as very vulnerable
then NHS staff and their families
then followed the emergency services
then followed by the already identified Key workers
then the rest of the population starting with the eldest and most at risk
what do you think ?

I think most would agree with you Johnny.
What about age ?
Sounds about right.
Sounds right but will it happen that way?
I think it will depend on how the vaccine works and who it would be most effective on.
Course it won't happen that way

Those with contacts won't be queuing up

I have contacts
and I won't be queuing up !
I shall be waiting my turn as it is the British thing to do
Not sure I'd want it.
queuing [i]is[] waiting your turn in Britain, johnny. The Yanks would just steal it.
Seeing as I am not now considered vulnerable by our NHS and Government I shall continue to keep my head under the parapet and let all the sheeple push, shove, elbow and argue their 'right' to be first in the queue. When that debacle has subsided I might rock up and get other ailments that have meanwhile materialised attended to.
Think about it,
The general public,or Joe bloggs,or whatever we are called,we will be the last in the list,
Just like when the underground concrete bunkers where built all over Britain, the public where never told about them till years later ,politicians, civil servants, royalty,I often wonder what would have happened if that lot survived,
To restart civilisation,that’s a joke
I agree with you Johnny.
The elites.
First all the key workers especially NHS, as the only place us vulnerable people should be at risk, is if we have to go to hospital. And the key workers are keeping everything going for us, whilst we self isolate. Prescriptions delivered, internet shopping delivered, bins emptied etc. Then the vulnerable people.
Pointless treating key workers if everyone else is dead. They’ll have on one to look after.
Why would everyone else be dead ZM? People self isolating are pretty safe from infection and only the very vulnerable are at real risk of dying and they should be self isolating.
