She's visible here in Twickenham in the western sky about 25-30 degrees above the horizon. Only light showing.

One thing I've noticed about Venus is that it now glows yellowish rather than its usual icy white. It's almost like a mini moon.
Well, it's got loads of sulphur hasn't it, Tilly? So they say, obtained from orbiting probes. Might explain it.
I thought it was because there was less air pollution. Hey ho.
Good times now for viewing Venus through a telescope while it forms an increasingly large and narrow crescent as it approaches inferior conjunction with the Sun in June. Best to wait until after sunset when there is no DANGER of having direct sunlight in your field of view. Venus will be accompanied by a young crescent Moon at month's end.
Ah...….mystery solved. The lovely Venus is hanging in our dark sky like a mini moon and OH & I couldn't place it. Now we can -Thanks.
