Has anyone any idea of the name of the blue dye in miracle-gro powder?
Somehow, I manage to get it on my fingers and it's impossible to get off.
I've tried looking for a data sheet but the name of the stuff is not on there.
If I knew what it was, I might find a way of washing it off.

Thanks.

It does, according to the data sheet, contain Copper sulfate, which could contribute to the bright blue color... I suspect, however, they've also added other dye for effect...

Thanks Clanad. Yes, I did notice that it contains copper sulphate and I think you're right about the dye - the powder is a darker shade of blue than pure copper sulphate would be.

I'd really like to know the name of that dye as the stuff is under my fingernails too!

Thanks again.
I find nail varnish removed very good for removing mystery stains, maybe try that?
I found car dashboard clener shifted some, but vanish (cooker cleaner) and wire wool removed it completely, I have a shed like Halfords and normally WD 40 shifts almost anything, that and petrol are my first stop for stains
