Bobbi thalidomide is still used very carefully in the Uk to control cancer care nausea. if this drug is effective in the older population whose childbearing years are behind them it will be a godsend.

game changer

G-CSF was first trialled as a therapy for neutropenia induced by chemotherapy in 1988.

I was offered GCSF when my bone marrow was wiped out 2012- and told the professor - when this first came out - 1988 - Dr X thought it would be a game changer but it really has made no difference

and the good professor said yes I know - - but....

(has a good lab profile and doesnt prolong life - bit like current dtugs for COvid)

Not sure that I would take it.Apart from the tragedy of it's effect on unborn children it has also been connected with other disorders including blood clotting.

Wasnt thalidomide prescribed to pregnant females only for ailments. If this flu pill is prescribed to men could they cause birth defects.
Bobbi, thanks for that but at the moment it is only a theory.I still feel antipathy to the use of Thalidomide.
