Sunday. It's wet 'n windy again. The clouds are heading North. This is turning into the summer that never was!
Somebody said to me yesterday 'That's a nice tan you've got!' I replied it's not, It's rust!
I was going out shopping today, that's cancelled. I'll go and get the paper and that's it. I'll be wearing my boat wet weather gear for that!
I'll be delighted when the hairdressers are back to work, I'm beginning to look like a 60's hippie!

We were talking about deliveries emmie. The entrance to my house is narrow, always have a problem with suites. I bought a flat pack suite! I absolutely knew it would fit through the hall without its packaging, but still tried with packaging on, it was a tight squeeze! Sorted it tbough, its very comfy!

my chesterfield sofa and chair was too large for the doorway, so the delivery men took the doors off, it cost me 150 quid but i guess it was worth it.

Isnt it annoying emmie. Thiss was why I ordered a flat pack.

i ordered it on line, made to order, but i didn't take into consideration of the narrowness of the door frame, still they put them back on and took away the old sofa and chair.

they weren't from the sofa company, just the delivery drivers, so cost me cold hard cash but it was either that or take it back, which of course would have been a pain.
