It was due to be discontinued from August onward. I am not aware of any specific site which will give specific guidance for EV and similar crosswords but I would suggest that you look at the various threads on each individual puzzle on both this and other forums. There are always some answers, very helpful hints and parsing of answers to be had on those threads. I am sure that others will be able to give you better advice.
Danny's link only works if you've registed with The Telegraph website but you can do so for free if you click on the relevant links.
It looks as if there might not be many more EV puzzles to come:

I find most cryptic crosswords baffling but I've been trying to learn about them over the past few years by
(a) reading posts on AB that explain the parsing ; and
(b) 'cheating' by finding the answer on Danword ( http:// www.dan word.co m ) and then, when I know the answer, working backwards from there to try to understand the parsing.
Perhaps, if you find yourself stuck on an EV clue you could use some 'purposeful cheating' to help you too? i.e. find the answer on Danword or elsewhere and then use it to learn about how the setter's brain works; you might then be less baffled when you encounter a similarly-constructed clue in the future. (If you're still stuck with the parsing from a clue, there are plenty of people here who can help you out with it).

If you've started a particular EV and want some pointers there are solvers here who will help you get started (like all themed cryptics EV has a different challenge every week, so generalisations won't be that much help).
There is a weekly EV thread on the Crossword Help Forum site, I'm sure you'd get the same help there.
Good luck, worworcrossol - I think you'll enjoy the puzzle.
