So, my point is... don't spend too much!!
my costume is to die for!! - no, seriously, I'd rather die than wear it!! :o\

my sister has a 70's style cat suit and a big red wig, then her dress for half way through ( i'm stil not getting this idea btw, I thought you only got changed during a wedding) is almost like a ball gown, bright pink with long pink gloves!
Mine... ahem, well, I'm 7 mths pregnant, so anything figure hugging is out! I was going to go as a nun but it wouldn't go down well, most of my mum's side are very religious and a heavily pregnant nun would just be frowned upon!
So I went for a big baby costume - it's pink! I don't do pink!!

hi missjef, have a look at this post for some ideas: http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/People_and_Plac es/Question280818.html
Our local leisure centre offers pool parties for adults, with loads of inflatables etc, and they offer this free so long as you let them cater for the party afterwards in their function room. Get your own DJ and no tidying up for you afterwards. The pool is privately hired by you and your party and you get about 2 hours in the water.
