New Kitchen
I have a tiny, outdated kitchen with an archway leading to a small dining area. I'd like to makeover the whole space into a bigger kitchen but where to start? There are so many kitchen companies, plus all the B&Q's, Ikea, Homebase etc. Has anyone done anything similar & have you any recommendations? before I start asking for quotes. Thanks.

As they only sell to the trade, you will have to get a kitchen fitter to get a price for the complete job. (They get a big discount from them) (Howdens should be able to recommend) I have found their units to be well built , good quality and a good choice,of colours etc. the bare units come built saving the fitter a lot of time. As a guide rough costs of kitchen fitter in SE England £200 perday
We measured our kitchen then made an appointment with a b and q kitchen designer who designed it with our requests. We then purchased the relevant cupboards and work tops and installed ourselves. I'd recommend b and q. We love our kitchen and it wasn't expensive. We completely gutted it back to brick and new tile floor for under £3k using BandQ stuff. Kitchen is 5m x3m
