I wouldn't go for those packs that you see in Debenhams.
Have a look in the Yellow Pages or on the net for your closest airfield. There may well be one or more flying schools there. Phone them up and ask about a trial lesson.
Alternatively, go to Yahoo! and type in "Airfields in Nottinghamshire" for example.
It'll cost about �60 for an hour, but she'll get to fly the thing around once airbourne, and possibly a little certificate too.
Something different anyway.
