a new cover for her mobile phone with all those new sparkly bits on, i have just paid �60 to have mine done by an artist and now u can buy the stick on packs for �15

what is she like? its hard to suggest things without any idea of what kind of person they are, will try to help though as i am 17 myself, though i cant remember what i got for my last birthday!!

How about a flying lesson?

I wouldn't go for those packs that you see in Debenhams.

Have a look in the Yellow Pages or on the net for your closest airfield. There may well be one or more flying schools there. Phone them up and ask about a trial lesson.

Alternatively, go to Yahoo! and type in "Airfields in Nottinghamshire" for example.

It'll cost about �60 for an hour, but she'll get to fly the thing around once airbourne, and possibly a little certificate too.

Something different anyway.

Seriously though I would go with no jewellry or clothes unless you know exactly what she likes, and try to get something with more sentimental value than literal value.
