Could it be you not having any experience in dating?

Could it be that you have dated but they went horribly (of so, why)?

Could it be that you don’t have the luxuries to maintain a relationship (money, job, transportation)?

Pretty much, why do you think you haven’t been able to get a boyfriend/girlfriend?

Let’s not try toast this about me.

Going back to those desperate single men, what problems are these folks facing when trying to find a relationship?
I don't know. I can't speak for everyone.

I wouldn't be in a relationship with someone is was needy, jealous, lazy, abusive...the list goes on.
This is either an unhealthy obsession about dateless men or a request for help.
Which?

I was single for five years when my second wife left me and the kids, 10 and 8. Hated it.

Now married ( third) for the last time, loving it.

1ozzy - It’s not an obsession, but rather a request for these dateless men (the “involuntarily” dateless ones) to explain their obstacles/struggles of finding a relationship.

I’m rather surprised that they are not here or feel uncomfortable answering.
i have been single for a long time, since Mr Em passed away, it would be nice to have more male friends, but one has to consider that being on one's own is no bad thing

I’m assuming you don’t have any struggles/obstacles in trying to find a relationship?

Sounds like you are not all that interested in finding one.
health issues have played a large part in my being single,
besides now i am near retirement men are not looking for a pensioner as a girl friend.....
Emmie - Men of a similar age are though.
perhaps i should join a club of some sort.......
Yeah. Do you use Facebook?
not a chance
Pity. We have a local group for our town. People share photos and experiences etc. They often meet up for coffee. A group of strangers are now friends.

Facebook isn't as bad as people make out.
my SIL is always checking Facebook, i am just not into it to be honest.
My mum is on FB. She's 67.
i really don't like that much personal data out there, as i feel it can come back at you, still i do get out and i like meeting new people.
its just the places i know don;t currently get busy, with the lockdown and all
You don't have to put any personal info on it and if you do you can select who can see that info.
there is a pensioner meeting place just around the corner, but to be honest i don't like to just meet older people, my mate is 44 and that's nice, she has a different perspective on things, though we don't agree on politics at all
