No. If someone has given you a gift, it is up to you what you do with it. Not particularly very nice though. Probably better to keep hold of it for a while before trying to sell on.

"Unwanted gift" is often used as a euphemism for "fell off the back of a lorry". In that case it is illegal to sell them.
